Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some common questions and answers to help you decide whether you want to use our services.

Do you accept insurance?

We at Quiet Strength do not involve ourselves at all with any insurance company. Our notes, treatment plans and assessments are designed to address our work together and may not meet insurance standards. Our services are provided on a private pay basis only. We do not accept insurance. This practice allows you greater control of your services and the ability to determine how much you want your insurance to be involved in your care. We can provide you a receipt for services which you can then submit for possible reimbursement of out of network benefits by your insurance provider. Reimbursement of insurance benefits is outside our control and are the responsibility of each client to pursue if desired.

How do I make an appointment?

Use the "Let's Connect" Contact form to begin the process. Once we receive that form, you'll be contacted to set up a 15-minute, complimentary, introductory call as an opportunity to confirm that our services match your needs.

What are your fees?

One-on-one therapy sessions are typically 45-50 minutes long, at a cost of $250 per session. Extended "Intensive" sessions (from 75-90 minutes) are $375 per session.

What can I expect during a therapy session?

During a therapy session with Quiet Strength Counseling & Consulting, you can expect a safe and confidential environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts and feelings. Our therapist will listen attentively, offer guidance, and work collaboratively with you to explore solutions and promote personal growth.

Do you offer any in-person sessions?

All of our sessions are conducted online using a HIPAA-compliant video/audio conferencing platform. We do not currently offer any in-person sessions. Many clients appreciate the ease and flexibility of online telehealth services, as they offer an opportunity to meet at times and locations that are more convenient than in-person services.

Can anyone else join me during my sessions?

We are clinicians whose expertise involves individual work with adults. We are not couples or family therapists, and we are not credentialed to work with children. You will be asked at each session to affirm that you are in a private location and that you reasonably believe you will not be interrupted.

What's your approach to AI as it relates to therapy sessions?

While we are not against the use of AI as a tool, Quiet Strength currently does not use AI tools as part of the therapy or record-keeping process. If that changes, each client will be notified and asked to consent to use of AI as part of the services received.
